Krishna teaches a holistic and inclusive integral style of yoga that guides students through physical postures, breathwork, conscious relaxation, deep awareness and Meditation .
Krishna began his life with yoga as a young child. He grew up in the Blue Mountains with both his parents teaching yoga locally. Gaining his first instruction into yoga practice from both parents in the form of prenatal yoga and kids yoga classes and then intensive instruction from his father during his teen years.
He regularly visited and practiced in yoga centres and ashrams both in India and Australia during his formative years. these influences have helped to cultivate a deep inspiration for yoga and the yogic lifestyle, culminating in his own development as a Yoga teacher and trainer.
Commencing formal training in yogic studies through the Satyananda yoga Academy in 2004 and In 2008 Krishna earned a provisional Level 1 accreditation in yoga teaching. In 2014 he was awarded accreditation at Level 2 Yoga Teaching and the Diploma of Satyananda Yoga Training (completing 3000hrs+ of formal training). From 2009-2014 he was a permanent instructor at MY Manly Yoga, focusing on a variety of class types including:
In 2014 he moved back to the Blue Mountains with his family and has been teaching yoga at a variety of venues giving primarily open level classes and as well as private instruction.
Krishna also has a fine arts background, holding a BFA from the National Art School, awarded in 2001.And is in the process of undertaking a Masters of Secondary Teaching Visual Arts. And regually engages in cpd (continuing professional develpment courses) to update and expand his knowledge and experience.
