Teaching a holistic and inclusive integral style of yoga that guides students through physical postures, breath work, conscious relaxation, deep awareness and Meditation . Yoga background Krishna began his life with yoga as a young child. Growing up in the Blue Mountains with both his parents teaching yoga locally. His first instruction into yoga practice was received from both parents in the form of prenatal yoga and kids yoga classes and then intensive instruction with his father during his teens years. Krishna has regularly visited and trained in yoga centres and ashrams both in India and Australia throughout his life and formative years.These early influences have helped him to cultivate a deep inspiration for yoga practice and lifestyle, culminating in his own development as a Yoga teacher and trainer. Academic background Commenced formal training in yogic studies through the Academy of Yogic Sciences in 2004. In 2008 Krishna earned a provisional Level 1 accreditation in yoga teaching. In 2014 he was awarded accreditation at Level 2 Yoga Teaching, attaining the VET Diploma of Satyananda Yoga Training, completing 3000hrs of formal yoga and meditation training. In 2021 he was Awarded the Advanced Diploma of Meditation as lifestyle medicine.(OL330MTT) BIYOME. . As well as formal qualifications in Yoga, Krishna also has a fine arts background, holding a BFA (painting) from the National Art School, awarded in 2001. And a Masters of Teaching (Secondary) Visual Arts, through UNE. This background has provided high level of educational professionalism and a depth of experience in contemplative practices. In 2014 he moved back to the Blue Mountains with his family and has been teaching yoga at a variety of venues, facilitating primarily open (inclusive all level) yoga classes, as well as private instruction. Krishna has as also been a member of SYTA (Satyananda Yoga Teachers Association) management committee (2022-23) .
